Our website and Virtual Data Room platform collect information about users during their browsing and through data registered by the user themselves, such as name, address, phone number, and company name, which we use internally to develop new services and ensure the continuous improvement of our environment (website and Virtual Data Room platform).

• Operate and administer the Deallink Services;
• Improve your experience using the Deallink Services, including by personalizing them;
• Address and respond to customer support requests;
• Identify, remediate, and prevent any technical or security issues that may affect the quality of the Deallink Services;

• Send marketing communications, offers, and related opportunities that we believe are relevant to you and your company;
• Perform any other functions described in our terms and conditions or in this Security and Privacy Policy.

If we do not collect this information, it will not be possible to use the Deallink Services or create an account/profile within our environments.

Authentication: when you are logged into your Deallink account, cookies help us present the right information and personalize your experience.

Security: to enable and support our security features, and to help us detect malicious activity and violations of our Agreements.

Preferences, features, and services: cookies may inform us of your language preferences and settings made within the system to ensure a better experience.

We retain the personal information we collect for as long as we have an ongoing legitimate business need (for example, to continue providing access to the Deallink Virtual Data Room or to comply with applicable legal, tax, or accounting requirements).

When the legitimate business need ends, we will delete the information, anonymize it, or, where this is not possible (for example, if your personal information has been stored in backup archives), we will securely store it and isolate it from any further processing until deletion becomes possible.

We retain User Content only for the period established in our contracts or for as long as we are instructed or permitted to do so.

You have the following privacy rights:

• If you wish to access, correct, update, or request the deletion of your personal information, you may do so at any time using the settings available through the Deallink Virtual Data Room or, if such settings are not available, by contacting us through the channels indicated below.
• If you reside in Brazil, you may object to the processing of your personal information or request that we restrict the processing of your personal information.
• You have the right to opt out of the marketing communications we send you at any time by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link in our marketing emails.

We respond to all requests we receive from individuals wishing to exercise their data protection rights in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

Please note that we do not offer any of the rights described above with respect to any personal information embedded in User Content. We process such content on behalf of our clients, and if your personal information is contained in any content, you should contact the client on whose behalf we store that information.

We reserve the right to update this Policy at any time by publishing the new version on our websites.

When such changes are material, we will attempt to notify you via email, notices on our websites, or an alert on the Deallink Virtual Data Room login screen.

If you do not agree with the terms or any changes made to them, you must discontinue use of our Deallink Services.
